The Inauguration
The Crowned Lands are in turmoil. The Barony of Ellerton is under quarantine, a thick miasma choking its once prosperous lands. Strange and foul cults have begun to emerge across the realm. In the Barony of Tynmuir, the Druids report that the lush forests are withering.
A dome of divine energy has reportedly been slowly travelling across the country, pushing back this strange sickness of the land.
Sis’trallium once only found in the mines of Hollowglen, now erupts across the lands. Leaving terrible scars that just cannot be healed. Many have turned their efforts toward containing this growing threat.
Admist all of this… A beacon of hope. The young Princess has finally come of age and, seemingly into her power, as the dome comes to rest over the Capital city of Edenhold.
People from across the Crowned Lands have been summoned to Edenhold to celebrate the Princess's Inauguration and… to seek shelter beneath the dome.

Getting Here
We will be offering pick-ups from Galashiels train station. If there is enough interest, we will run a bus from Glasgow or Edinburgh to the venue.

Do I need to have attended previous events?
Not at all. While the story of the Crowned Lands continues to unfold, this event is designed to welcome both new and returning players alike. You will be provided with a pre-written character whose brief will contain all the information you need to dive straight into the world! Is this game beginner-friendly?
We aim to make our LARP accessible to everyone, from brand new players to seasoned veterans. Never LARPed before? You’re in good company! Many of our players joined us for the first time at previous events and have returned again and again, which we hope speaks for itself.

Inspiration
Inspired by tales such as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, the spirit of medieval festivals, and themes of hope and resilience, this event leans into a world finding strength in the face of hardship.
